Pre-order the book

It’s official: I’m writing a book on Joomla! development for Packt Publishers. Start pre-ordering!

Developers too hip for their own good

This Planetizen feature takes a look at a quasi-gentrifying neighborhood in Philadelphia. A little gem is embedded within:

Custom Google Maps with no programming

Someone has finally come up with a mapping system where you can add pins on a Google Map by clicking where you want them. Enter Click2Map! Here’s one with local restaurants I created in about 10 minutes.

UPDATE: Evidently, Google Maps rolled out My Maps just recently which is suspiciously similar in function (and a little easier to use, IMO).
